Charles Molele Biography

Later as a former senior political correspondent he worked at the Mail & Guardian. During a period of more than 20 years he has worked as a senior political reporter for the Saturday Star, Sunday World, This Day, the Sunday Times and is a former political editor at The New Age. Among others, Charles Molele also acts as Executive Director of the NGO Forum of African Investigative Reporters, representing over 120 investigative journalists in 38 African countries. Molele has done a variety of additional course in Investigative Journalism, Court Reporting, Media law, Cross-Exam Province, Opinion & analysis writing and creative writing, as well as a course entitled “Reporting on Peace and Nuclear Security” offered by the RNTC in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In November 2012, he also had anopportunity to attend a short course on Reporting on the US Elections at the Ohio University, State of Ohio, during the re-election of President Barack Obama.

He is currently motivating for a Masters dissertation in Communication Science in Media at UNISA dealing with a critical focus on Media Ownership and Transformation of the Media in SA with a particular focus on Naspers-MEDIA 24. Besides his management role at Inside Education, Charles Molele is owner of Kobela Media, a communications company specializing in PR, Marketing and Advertising.
